Setting the Frame Rate on the video encoder

How do I set the frame rate for my cameras on the video encoder?

Answer

The SecurGen Video Server supports a global frame rate of 120 PPS at the lowest resolution, 30 PPS at the highest resolution

The Video Encoder supports a global frame rate of 120 PPS at the lowest resolution, 30 PPS at the highest resolution. Frame rates and quality can be independently varied per camera while resolution must be set consistently across all channels.

 

To set the frame rate of your cameras follow these steps;

 

1.       From the Live screen click Setup.

2.       On the Camera Setup tab, select the channel and click Frame Rate.

3.       Use the Live Frame Slider to set the frame rate.

a.       If you want to record video at a separate frame rate, check the Separate recording frame box and use the Display frame slider and the Record frame slider to adjust your settings.

4.       Click OK to save your settings.
